One question I am getting emailed a lot is what companies I think are reputable for taking online surveys from home. I don’t have any time to take surveys anymore because of running my website, but last year I saved up almost $300 from taking at home surveys throughout the year. I cashed all of this $300 out right before Christmas time and we used that to do most of our Christmas shopping!
Here are the ones I have personally used:
Valued Opinions – They pay you in the gift card of your choice, surveys are usually quick and you can rack up the points very quickly. I got my All You magazine through them for choosing a Magazines.com gift card.
PineCone Research – They are not currently accepting new applicants at this time but when they do I will let you know.
Synovate – I got a lot of full sized products from them to review, they are not accepting applicants at this time either and when they do the spots fill up quickly.
Inbox Dollars- Get paid on reading emails (I actually never read them I just click through them to get my points). Takes seconds per day, the points don’t add up that quickly but for spend literally seconds per day you can earn a gift card for date night in as little as 3 months!
Opinion Outpost – My favorite one! Take short surveys that are usually worth $2-$3 each, then you can cash out as soon as you reach $5!
MyPoints.com – Similar to Inbox Dollars but you can cash them in for gift cards.
Swagbucks – You can also take surveys through Swagbucks to earn points that you can use to trade in for gift cards.
Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel (no landline required) – This one gives you a home scanner, you scan your purchases at your home, and earn points. Exchange your points for prizes and gift cards.
Ones I have not personally tried, but have heard great things about them. I would love your opinion if you have tried any of these.
What are your favorite survey companies and why?
SurveySpot (www.surveyspot.com) is a site I really like. Once you reach $10, you can cash out instantly via PayPal or there are a few gift card options. The surveys are sometimes only worth 50 cents, but there are surveys available often. I have been a member for about 4 months and have earned $50.
