Creating your Own Coupon Binder Video

July
29th

Want to know how to create your very own coupon binder?  I have some of the resources that I spoke about in this video listed below.  The most important piece of advice I have is to do what works best for you because that is going to make this coupon journey the most enjoyable.  I went through 3-4 different coupon organizational methods until I found the one that worked for me.  This tupperware bin is what I used when I first started using coupons, it was big and bulky but it worked until I got sick of flipping through coupons in the store.

Start off with your Binder, here is the binder that I use, it is a 3 inch + 1 inch Case it Binder.

There are many different sized inserts that you can get, here are links to some of the best prices you can find online.

Whenever I see one of these big, beautiful coupon binders I always wonder how in the world you manage that in a store. If I have my daughter in the cart using up that seat(which is more often than not), there’s no way I could comfortably flip through something that big in the store.

Lisa, it is very tricky for me as well! I plan most of my trips before I go to the store and have my coupons set aside, and bring my binder in just in case I see an unadvertised sale. I have my 2 year old in the front, my baby in the cart with groceries around her and my binder is usually under the cart. It’s not easy, but it pays off for me in the longrun.

Yay, just ordered my binder!!! I can’t wait! Also found some cheap baseball card protector sheets for .88 cents for 15.. GOOD DEAL YAHHOOOO! Now, if my binder would just get here so I could get crackin’….

  4. Jessica says:

I found my baseball card sheets at the Dollar Store!

  5. Ellen says:

Amazon is out of the binder, any suggestions on where else to get it?

  6. Lexi says:

@Ellen- Check Staples! They had them there yesterday. Cheaper than online and no shipping. :) HTH!

Lauren- Thanks for this info! I found a Five Star Binder that I looooove at Walmart and I am ready to get crackin with my binder!

To everyone- Check walmart for the baseball card holders. I found one for $4.19 and it has 35 sheets! :)

  7. Lexi says:

Oh, and if anyone is military, check the PX! I decided to buy a Case It binder instead from there and it was $11.99. Not the same as Lauren has but still really nice and roomy!

  8. Nicole says:

    Hi Lauren-
Where can I find the list of categories you use for your binder? I think in your video you mentioned that the categories are listed on your website, but I’m not sure where.
    Thanks!
    Nicole
