Here is a great deal on Hamburger Helper this week at Price Chopper:
Buy any (3) Hamburger Helpers and get a $2.00 ONYO catalina – this was found in the monthly Catalina book found near the register.
They are priced at $1.50 each, and there is a $0.80/4 Hamburger Helper coupon here.
Here is what the deal will look like:
Buy (4) Hamburger Helpers @ $1.50 each ( $6.00 OOP)
- UseĀ $0.80/4 Hamburger Helper couponĀ
- Pay $4.20 for all 4 boxes (That’s $1.05 each!)
Don’t like Hamburger helper? This is a great donation item!

I did this deal today. Went to my PC, there was a sign posted where the hamburger helpers were about the $2 catalina onyo if you buy 3.
They are on sale 2/$3. I brought 8. Used (2) 80 cents off 4 coupons that doubled to equal 3.20 off. I paid 8.80.
to my surprise no catalina’s printed.
Went to customer service. After they verified that the sign promotion was in fact posted, they gave me my $4, in cash.
So I spent 4.80 for 8 boxes. Not bad.
Hi Lauren,
I just went to the price chopper on rt 31 in clay and they told me they no longer accept competitors coupons? I just looked at their policy and it says they do..
I didn’t get my Hamburger Helper catalina either at the PC in Clay. Didn’t realize it until I got home. Is it too late to go back? I got two other catalinas ($1/2 vitamin water and $3/1 Poise) but no $2 OYNO catalina after I bought 4 Hamburger Helpers.
I’m in Oneida. I’ll try it tomorrow night and let you know….
Has anyone got this to work? I did it twice and never got an ONYO. Another chain has a similar ONYO but people are reporting that the ONYO at that store is really buy 10 get a $2 ONYO. I just called Catalina to have them look at the transaction but I don’t know how long it will take them to get back to me.
I just spoke to Catalina and PC has the wrong information in their booklet and on their shelves, it is when you buy 10 not 2. If the signs are still up, I’m going to go buy 3 more and go to the front desk with the booklet to make them give me the $2 back for false advertising.
Oh man, that really stinks. I will update my post, thanks!
I’m wondering if this is actually Catalina Marketing’s fault and not the grocery stores because people were asking why this cat wasn’t working at a different chain also wyb 3. Someone on one of the forums said that they found something on Catalina’s site saying you had to buy 10 of them to get the cat. I think I’m going to CS at Price Chopper with their brochure in hand to tell them about my conversation with Catalina and to ask where the mix up originated.
I went on Friday and bought 4 boxes, but did not get any Catalina. The nice customer service ladies couldn’t figure it out, so they just gave me the $2.00 back in cash.
Oops, forgot to say that I went to Price Chopper in Oswego.
