Reader Elizabeth emailed me a picture of her Rite Aid trip this week. She spent $37.50 and saved $92.25 with my wellness card/markdowns and $15 with coupons!

Here is what she had to say about her trip:

My Rite Aid is in Syracuse and they just marked down the Christmas gifts to 75% off. I got the larger zen fountains for $3.24 each, the small one for $1.99 and the football games for $2.49 each! All are going right downstairs to start my Christmas pile for next year.
The digital frames also have recorable message features and were just $2.49 each and are perfect for upcoming mother’s day & father’s day gifts (the kids will record sweet messages for their dad’s office and for their grandparents). The timer is going right to use, it can be programmed for 7 days with different settings and was just $3.24.
The Venus razor set was marked down to $5.99 and can be used with the $5 off Venus razor and cartridge coupon from the 1/1/12 P&G insert. The kit includes 1 razor, 2 cartridges, shave gel, body lotion, a showerpod & travel case.

Spent $11 on 10 boxes of General Mills cereal, 2 packages of Chicken Sausage, and 4 Pizza Dough!

January
9th

I did a big shopping trip last night but my store was out of cereal, so I went back this morning to pick up my cereal this week at Price Chopper.  I spent $11 on all this, I did 2 separate transactions so that I could use (2) in ad coupons, I split up each transaction so that there were 3 Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and 2 Multi-Grain Cheerios.  Price Chopper has a limit of 4 ‘like’ coupons per transaction, so to get around that I split them up in this way.   Cinnamon Toast Crunch was my favorite cereal, because I am eating Gluten Free now – it was a sad day to buy all of this knowing I can’t eat any of it :(

Transaction #1:

Buy (3) Cinnamon Toast Crunch @ $2.00 each (5/$10 w/ in ad coupon)

Buy (2) Multi Grain Cheerios  (5/$10 w/ in ad coupon)

Transaction #2:

Buy (3) Cinnamon Toast Crunch @ $2.00 each (5/$10 w/ in ad coupon)

Buy (2) Multi Grain Cheerios  (5/$10 w/ in ad coupon)

  • Used (3) $0.50/1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch printable coupon herehere, or here.
  • Used (2) $0.75/1 Multi Grain Cheerios printable coupons here or here
  • Final price = $4.00

Bought (2) Johnsonville Chicken Sausage B1G1 FREE and $3.99

  • Used $1/1 Johnsonville Chicken Sausage coupon from 1/1 SS
  • Final price  $2.99 for both!

4 Pizza dough – Buy 1 Get 3 FREE $1.99
