My Dollar Tree Shopping trip – spend $4.00 and saved $7.00!!

My Dollar Tree shopping trip

I went to Dollar Tree today to pick up a few good deals, I ended up spending $4 + tax on all of this!

Here is how I did it:

(1) Got 2b Dry conditioner 

  • Used $2.00/1 got2b Full Size Item – 2-9-14 RP – (exp. 03/23/14)
  • Final price = FREE

(6) Quaker Granola bars 3 ct 

  • Used (3)  $0.75/2 coupons
  • Final price = $0.62 per box

(2) Halls Cough Drops 18 ct

  • Used $1.00/2 Halls Drops Bags, 17 ct or Larger – 2-9-14 SS – (exp. 03/23/14)
  • Final price = $0.50 ea

(1) Colgate toothpaste 3.6 oz

  • Used $1.00/1 Colgate Toothpaste, 3.5 oz or Larger – 2-2-14 SS – (exp. 02/15/14)
  • Final price = FREE

(2) Kraft Recipe Makers

  • Used (2) $1/1 printable coupons (no longer available)
  • Final price = FREE

    I recently got the Recipe Starters for free too! I think I need to do another trip. Nice work!

        I actually haven’t tried them yet. I need to buy a couple of ingredients to accompany the recipe and those items have come up on sale yet. :)

    My very particular wife liked the chicken Florentine Kraft starter as did my 3-yr-old.

    My Dollar Tree in Webster tells me they only accept 2 printable coupons, per person, per day.

      Yup, my dollar tree is the same. I only used my 2 printables on the Kraft Recipe starters. Thanks for the feedback on the Florentine Kraft starter, I am anxious to try it! I am always looking for super easy dinner ideas.
