My Price Chopper Shopping Trip with Two Gas Promotions! Spent $20.04 saved $57.35! 74%

I dragged the hubby and kids along to the store today for a fun Father’s Day excursion (sense my sarcasm)! I hardly ever partake in the gas promotions, but with these high end General Mills coupons out I figured I would try! As you can see my daughter was super excited about the deal too!
Below are two transactions I did to take advantage of the two gas promos. I would like to note that the GM promo is actually tracking prior to factoring the in ad coupons for the cereal and Yoplait! Please note this could change over the course of the week.

Just wondering how giving coupons in order avoids the 50 percent rule? They had to override the system last time that i went to pc b/c i saved more than the limit. Does this work on all orders?
Randi, good question. As long as you are not saving more than 50% with just your card you give them the doubling coupons first. Once they double they double and the 50% will not effect you, even when you save that amount after. I always watch and if there is a point that one doesn’t double, I just throw in a $5 or $10 price chopper gift card! Does that make sense, I am awful tired!!

Can I use the $5/15 on this item: Buy (2) PC Boneless Pork Country Style Ribs B1G1 FREE (my packs were $8.40 each) or would I have to add more to total the $15?

Ron, the coupon is not specific. It says off a $15.00 purchase. Since it shows up $8.40 and $0.00 for the second on the receipt, I would say probably not.
What coupons are: $.58/8 printable coupons?

Can anyone explain this “Saving Star” thing to me? I dont understand this.
Saving Star – is a digital coupon. You load them to your account and they are linked to your store cards, when you redeem your coupon automatically when you purchase the item – it doesn’t come off your receipt but gets put in an account that once you reach $5.00 you can redeem for a Paypal or Amazon gift card.
I don’t use saving star so I can plead ignorance on this one. Can I stack Manufacturers with saving star? Or is that double dipping.
Yes it stacks with anything, Saving Star is a seperate online account so you won’t see money off at the register but it will be added to your Saving Star account a few days after you buy the specified items. Check it out http://www.savingstar.com
There is also a $0.75/2 savingstar on the Trix yogurt.
The PC store in clay told me they have a policy against back to back transactions now. They were very nice, but said I would have to come back a different day.
Okay, one more thing. is the $25 before or after the Price Chopper coupons?
the I-save machine was printing 50c off 1 trix cereal…I have no idea when it printed though. not as good as the60c but better than the $1/2!

Kim there are other things included in this gas promo, this is the only with a coupon I believe. Check ou the matchups. You could just skip this part of the transaction too!
Ok, on a catalina deal (like the Trix yogurt) I was going to buy 4, does this mean I will get 2 catalina coupons or not? The answer is probably here somewhere, but I am tired and can’t find it!
one Catalina deal per order…these are all seperate promotions so they will all print together. So you will have to seperate your trix.
OK so I also got $.40 off yoplait and $.50 off trix cereal with my PC e-coupons. I thought these were not supposed to stack with your MCs, but they still went through for an extra .90 off my order. The cashier also typed in all my printed coupons since they weren’t scanning properly. Is this an error in my favor? or can those ecoupons stack?
