Are you looking for an easy and delicious dessert? Check out this easy Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake. Super easy and SO GOOD!

Here is am AMAZING recipe for Crockpot Chocolate Lava Cake.

This is one of those desserts that you just dump in the crockpot and let it cook while you make dinner. It’s the perfect dessert to take to a party because everyone can try it!  It is one of my favorite ones to make!

Here is the recipe:

I have also done this with Gluten- free cake mix since I eat gluten free, it tastes just as amazing as the regular kind!

I have a smaller crock pot, so it took mine 4 hrs to cook since it is thicker.  Your bake time may vary.

Looks great but wondering…what size pudding mix? what size bag of choc. chips? AND does the size of the crockpot matter? My crockpot is pretty big – 6 quart capacity.
    Thanks!

I use the regular size of chocolate chips and smaller box of pudding. The bigger the crockpot the less time it takes to cook. I would go with 2 hrs or so with a larger crockpot. Mine took 4 hrs because I have a smaller one so the cake was bigger.

I think it’s an instant pudding mix, cause it said to “mix up the pudding”. At least that was how I read it.

How many servings do you get with this recipe and should you use a crockpot liner?

I wouldn’t use a liner for this recipe, just spray the inside with PAM. It serves around 6 – 8 ppl.

I wonder if almond milk could be used. We are gluten and dairy free.

I tried this last week and it was delicious! I used a chocolate fudge cake mix and a regular size box of instant chocolate pudding mix. I actually forgot the chocolate chips until about an hour and a half in, so I tossed them in then (I believe it’s a 12 oz bag). It took 3 1/2 hours on high in my greased 6 quart crockpot. There were only three of us, so I just left the leftovers in the crockpot and put it in the fridge. The edges were a little crunchier after sitting in the fridge, but weren’t bad, especially with ice cream melting on top :-D
